Take six of the coolest top young comedians, an audience, a studio, bang it up together.. into a half an hour sketch show and you've got... L.O.L: Laugh Out Loud, Nickelodeon UK's hit kid-controlled comedy sketch show! L.O.L: Laugh Out Loud is the ultimate teen sketch show.


Each week, six really cool comedians who are the funniest and sharpest teen comedy cast on the circuit, introduced the show. L.O.L: Laugh Out Loud is a no holds barred comedy show, so kids were advised to throw their parents out of the sitting room, make sure their baby sister was tucked up in bed, and be prepared to be shocked - as this was one comedy sketch show that you don't want to miss!


Every week, a whole host of characters including Jean Paul Goatee, a fashion know it all; The Rubbish Bully, who'd give you a mobile phone rather than nick it; Mr. Conkers, the head teacher who is absolutely bonkers; two of the smelliest characters you're ever going to meet; The Truthful Farting Granny, who'd fart your future; Graham Godley's Gorgeous Gran; Half Hearted Hannah; Billy Smellypits; Evil Baby, the scariest baby sister in the world; the most embarrassing Mum in the world; Fiona Road Rage; The Victorian Gentleman; and Billy Blewitt, the only one who can save us from the evil robots with his Big Brainy Bum! Each episode featured hilarious sketches, such as Vampire T.V., "Mr. Conkers…he’s Bonkers", Rubbish Bully, Cannibals Burger Bar, and “The Truthful Farting Granny”, and sketches that reflected what's being talked about when the show aired.
L.O.L: Laugh Out Loud promised to have viewers laughing until their sides spilt each week! It's G.R.8!


For L.O.L: Laugh Out Loud, Nickelodeon UK held a nationwide talent contest to look for the stars of the show. The final 15 came down to London's Comedy Store and were whittled down to Nicole Lewis, Nina De Comiso, Dax O'Callaghan, Alan Orr, Joe Swash and Joanna Burford by a crack team of comedy experts.

Produced by Nickelodeon UK and SMG Productions, the series premiered on 11th October 2002 as the British equivalent of All That and The Amanda Show, and ran for 10 episodes.

Among the sketch writing team were Dean Wilkinson and Dan & Nuria Wicksman.

Following L.O.L: Laugh Out Loud:

Joe Swash went on to play Mickey Miller in the British soap opera EastEnders, then becoming King of the Jungle on I'm a Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here! (UK);

Nicole Lewis played a reporter in an episode of The Naked Brothers Band;

Joanna Burford appeared in Little Britain;

Dax O'Callaghan went on to became the youngest ever choreographer to teach full-time classes at the Pineapple Dance Studios in Covent Garden, London;

Alan Orr went on to become an actor and composer for the PACE Theatre Company, and recently appeared in the Scottish comedy series Two Doors Down.

L.O.L: Laugh Out Loud Episode guide:

Episode 1
We meet our regular characters for the first time, Fiona Road Rage, The Victorian Gentleman and the dancing Billy Smellypits. Throw in a visit to Cannibals Burger Bar and a special prediction from our own fortune teller “ The Truthful Farting Granny” and you have Episode 1 of L.O.L.

Episode 2
As well as favourite characters like Rubbish Bully and Half Hearted Hannah, Episode 2 lets us into the secret thoughts of two of our biggest pop superstars and what those girly pandas are really up to.

Episode 3
The LOL cast manage to get themselves hypnotised , we have a commercial for a very special air freshener for those “embarrassing moments”, and Joe threatens Alan with the ultimate weapon “ dog pooh on a stick”.

Episode 4
In Episode 4 we meet the most embarrassing Mum in the world and we find out what teenagers are really talking about. And find out what happens when Dax buys Nicole a sweet bunny rabbit for her birthday.

Episode 5
Meet the maddest headmaster ever “Mr. Conkers…he’s Bonkers” and find out what happens when Nina manages to swallow the smallest mobile phone in the world…and there’s a bit more of that “dog pooh on a stick”.

Episode 6
In Episode 6 the team try to discover the of a very weird smell and we meet the mum who just cant get it right when it comes to finding a new dad for her boys. And there’s a welcome reappearance of our own Truthful Farting Granny.

Episode 7
Meet three new characters in Episode 7. Jean Paul , the fashion designer from hell, the scariest baby sister in the world in “Evil Baby” and dodgiest judge in legal history as played by Joe.

Episode 8
Dax plays the coolest street magician in the world (well almost). We’re treated to a lecture on how your smelling organ really works and we meet the latest chat show hostess on morning television.

Episode 9
Episode 9 gives us a look into the latest satellite channel, which only transmits at night,”Vampire T.V.”. And what would you do if your mum not only had a beard but it could also read your mind?

Episode 10
Meet the stupidest criminal ever on the run, the teacher who admits the truth behind algebra, and the most tactless doctor you’re ever likely to meet in Episode 10.

Nickelodeon Netherlands Commissions "De Ludwigs" Season 2

Hot on the heels of Nickelodeon USA announcing that it had renewed its adventure-comedy series Hunter Street for a 20-episode Season 2, Nickelodeon Netherlands (Nederland) has also announced that it has commissioned a second season of De Ludwigs, the Dutch counterpart of Hunter Street!


Both De Ludwigs season two and Hunter Street season two will be produced back-to-back in Amsterdam later this summer, with Nickelodeon Benelux starting to premiere episodes from De Ludwigs season two on Nickelodeon Nederland and Nickelodeon Belgium (België) during Fall 2017.

De Ludwigs is the only series of Dutch origin which has an international version, Hunter Street, in production at the same time.

The news follows the success of De Ludwigs season one, which debuted on Nickelodeon Benelux in May 2016, and the recent 8-part De Ludwigs special De Ludwigs - Wie is de dief?.

De Ludwigs is an adventurous comedy series for kids between the ages of 6-12. The series is characterized by friendship, family, and the solving of a great family mystery. De Ludwigs follows the comedic adventures of the Ludwig family, a family of five foster children who live in an imposing Amsterdam canal house that also serves as a museum with their parents.

In the first season of De Ludwigs and the independent adventure Wie is de dief?, Tooske and Bastiaan Ragas portrayed Kate and Erik Ludwig, the parents of the Ludwigs family. The roles of the five foster children were portrayed by Timo Verbeek (Benny), Rosaline Lantink (Anoosha), Cedric van den Abbeele (Sam), Luca Hollestelle (Yara) en Yassine El Ouardi (Daniel), with Cees Geel, Kees Hulst, Arno Moens (Tim), Aliyah Kolf, Eva van der Gucht, Peter Bolhuis and Yootha Wong Loi Sing (Simone) also having roles in the series.

In addition to De Ludwigs, Tooske Ragas, Cees Geel, Kees Hulst, Yootha Wong-Loi-Sing, Aliyah Kolf, Eva van der Gucht and Peter Bolhuis also had roles in the shows English-language remake, Hunter Street.

De succesvolle in Nederland geproduceerde komische avonturenserie De Ludwigs krijgt een vervolg, zo maakt Viacom-zender Nickelodeon vandaag bekend. Sarvar And Sartaj Lend Their Voices To The "Gattu Battu" Theme Song | Nickelodeon India

Singers Sarvar and Sartaj, who have crooned the song "Bapu sehat ke liye tu to haanikaarak he" for Dangal, have now lent their voices to the theme song of Nickelodeon India's brand-new animated investigative TV series Gattu Battu!

"It was an amazing experience to sing the title track for the new show Gattu Battu. I really hope my friends and fans would love our new song. I am a great fan of detective shows and I am looking forward to watch the new series," Sartaj said in a statement.


Sarvar shared: "I have been following shows on Nickelodeon since I was a kid. Motu Patlu title track has been my favourite. It's a great opportunity to sing to the lyrics penned down by Gulzaar uncle for Gattu Battu."

Tapping into the homegrown content demand, Nickelodeon announces new show "Gattu Battu":

The fiscal year 2016 has been rather promising for Viacom 18’s kids’ channels. Nickelodeon has maintained its stance as the apex kids channel in the country since 2014 and joining it are other subsidiaries namely Sonic, Nick Jr and Nick HD+.

The channel receives 65 per cent of its viewership from urban areas and the remaining from the rural areas. Nickelodeon, Sonic and Nick Jr contributed to 31 per cent of the network share.

With the demand for homegrown IPs on the rise, Viacom 18 is all set to bring in India’s first ever animated investigative series for kids – Gattu Battu. Nickelodeon’s fourth made-in-India animated series Gattu Battu, is a high decibel detective action comedy series slated to release on 1 May, 2017. The show has been produced by Toonz Animation.

Gattu Battu is a story of two best friends who own an investigative and security agency in a small town called Vishrampur. While Battu is the sixth sense behind every case to be solved, his friend Gattu is the courageous and righteous one. Their hilarious and brilliant cover-ups is what forms the heart and soul of this show. Gattu and Battu are joined in their fun escapades by Ting Tong, their goofy and adorable sidekick with a flair for martial arts. They, together along with Dr. Bhatawadekar and his gadgets come together to fight the notoriously funny villain Sher Singh. The unique investigative home-grown animated show from the house of Nickelodeon is an ultimate blend of action and comedy and is sure to provide a fun filled entertainment experience for kids.


Announcing the launch Viacom18, head – kids entertainment, Nina Elavia Jaipuria said, “Nickelodeon endeavours to serve the best entertainment to its young audience. Catering to children and their evolving preferences is at the core of all our initiatives. It is this coupled with our desire to innovate that has helped us sustain our leadership in the kids’ segment since 2014. After launching three blockbuster made in India shows and creating their ecosystem, we are delighted to bring to them yet another winning series, Gattu Battu, that they will surely embrace and make a part of their daily lives.”

The expansive marketing campaign will have promotions with an extensive cross channel plan, large scale on-ground ambient engagement and interesting on-line interactivity.

There will also be on-ground initiatives like retail and mall partnerships (Phoenix, Ambience, Viviana etc), multi city promotions etc. The channel has associated with [McDonald’s] to air the show promos across 300 screens. Gattu Battu themed games, van activations in Tier 2 cities and meet-and-greets at various gaming zones such as Fun City will introduce the duo as well as allow kids to engage with the characters.

The franchise revenue has increased by 20 per cent year-on-year. Sonic’s yield increased by 40 per cent year-on-year, while Nickelodeon’s yield has spiked up by 25 per cent year-on-year. Jaipuria said that they will be launching around 15 games this summer, including ones for their newest IP.

Apart from Gattu Battu which will run seven days a week, the company will also be bringing new episodes of Ninja Hattori, for which they have collaborated with the Japanese makers, while Motu Patlu will witness new episodes this summer as well apart from its first time ever movie premiere on television. A new Motu Patlu movie is also in production titled Motu Patlu in Dragon World and we will see its release sometime in June this year. Motu Patlu is the number one show on VOOT, the company’s OTT platform.

Sonic’s three of the most renowned properties, Shiva, Oggy and the Cockroaches and Pakdam Pakdai will also be coming around with new episodes this summer.

The company is also doing pretty well in the licensing and merchandising front as its merchandising revenues went up by 40 per cent as it has its presence in 46 categories. However, as Jaipuria stated, the company took a hit of around 15 to 20 per cent owing to demonetisation, which resulted them in losing their surplus.

Another property of the franchise, Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards, was received quite well and the company has plans to make it bigger for the next edition.

Josh Peck Explains How He Turned His ‘Awkward’ Nickelodeon Years Into Social Media Gold

The 2004 Drake & Josh pilot began with one teenager's worst nightmare: walking in on their parents making out. Drake Parker promptly blows a whistle, forcing the grown-ups to jump apart. Josh Nichols then rushes into the room, brandishing a mop to defend himself. "What happened?" he gasps. "I heard screaming." Don't worry, Josh, it's just your soon-to-be stepbrother witnessing what can't be unseen.


This was Nickelodeon's hilarious introduction to a family that made fans laugh for four seasons, with Josh Peck and Drake Bell's namesake characters at the center of it all. Drake was the suave rule breaker; Josh, the lovable goof who was "about as smooth as chunky peanut butter," as young Peck described him in the original trailer.


The future siblings, being on opposite ends of Belleview High School's social ladder, had wildly different reactions when their parents announced wedding plans. "Hug me, brotha!" Josh joyfully exclaimed, wrapping a horrified Drake into a bear hug. Fast-forward to today, and this phrase remains universally quoted by fans — including MTV News' Deepa Lakshmin when she said goodbye to Peck after chatting with him last month. It's one of many D&J quips immortalized on the internet.

"You'll see something that goes slightly viral in a meme, like a particular line: 'Have a good day; don't tell me what to do,'" Peck, now 30, gave as an example. "I'll text Dan [Schneider, the show's creator] because this is literally something he wrote 13 years ago. I'll be like, 'Can you believe this, dude? Your lines are still completely loved and people are still getting a kick out of it.'"

Schneider helmed several Nickelodeon favorites, from 1994's All That to 2015's Game Shakers. Peck starred in The Amanda Show, also created by Dan Schneider, and the Nickelodeon Movie Snow Day, before D&J, establishing himself as a major actor on classic Nickelodeon. When ’90s and ’00s kids remember the stuff they grew up watching, they think of Josh and his wacky, bumbling characters on TV or in movies, like Max Keeble's Big Move, whose character wore a rocket ship–adorned robe that he never took off.

FCBD 2017 Loud House showcases The Loud House #1: There Will Be Chaos, which will be released in bookstores on Tuesday 9th May 2017 and in comic shops on Wednesday 31st May 2017. It will features stories and art from show creator Chris Savino and his team of animators and writers.

The Loud House follows 11-year-old Lincoln as he gives an inside look at what it takes to survive in the bedlam of a large family, especially as the only boy with 10 sisters. With his best bud Clyde, Lincoln always comes up with a plan to stay one step ahead of the chaos, but whether or not it works is where the adventures begin."

Lincoln will teach you important life lessons such as how to always get the last slice of pizza, how to restore law and order to the living room, and how to properly dispose of poopy diapers! Fans in the Los Angeles area will be able to meet Chris Savino at a signing for Free Comic Book Day at House of Secrets in Culver City. The store is located at 1930 W Olive Ave, in Burbank, California and the signing will last from 2:00 to 4:00 PM PT.

Peppa Pig Charms Cinema Audiences In The UK & Australia

Peppa Pig My First Cinema Experience takes £3m in the UK and $2.16 million in Australia.

eOne's Peppa Pig has been charming cinema audiences in both the UK and Australia!


Peppa Pig My First Cinema Experience: Peppa's Australian Holiday marked the theatrical debut for Peppa Pig in Australia where the release hit 241 screens across the country and debuted at number six in the overall box office chart.

Since it opened on Thursday 16th March 2017, the release has so far racked up box office receipts of AUS $2.16 million.

Meanwhile, in the UK, Peppa Pig My First Cinema Experience debuted on Friday 7th April 2017, screening in over 500 cinemas nationwide. It has also enjoyed tremendous success generating box office sales of just over £3 million since opening and ranking in the overall top five UK box office releases in its opening week.

In both countries the release was supported by heavyweight marketing and PR campaigns, including a celebrity studded pink carpet premiere and partnerships with Tourism Australia and Australian airline Qantas, which hosted costume character meet and greets at Sydney and Melbourne airports.

In the UK, brand partners included Visit London, which secured cross promotional opportunities with its London tourist destinations and Northern Rail which displayed posters in Leeds and Manchester Piccadilly stations and distributed flyers across its rail network.

In addition, retail activity during opening weekend included a London themed tea party at Foyles bookshop and costume character appearances at Bluewater and Portsmouth's Gunwharf Quays shopping centres.

Licensees including TY, Penguin, Trademark, Underground Toys, Redan and Portmeirion came on board in the UK to produce spin-off licensed merchandise to tie in with the theatrical release. Whilst in Australia, a bespoke product range spanning toys, books and apparel launched exclusively at Big W in Australia and was anchored in-store with cross category POS (point of sale), video screens, radio and digital marketing.

Rebecca Harvey, head of global marketing at Entertainment One Licensing, said: “Families have embraced the unique format of five-minute episodes linked with live interactive content, which encourages children to get up and dance.

“The cinema experience gives fans the unique opportunity to be completely connected with the brand and creates a halo effect that benefits the franchise as a whole.”

Airing regularly on Nick Jr. UK & Ireland & Nick Jr. Too, Peppa Pig follows the adventures of Peppa, a loveable, exuberant little piggy who lives with her brother George, Mummy Pig and Daddy Pig. Peppa's favorite things include playing games, dressing up, spending days outdoors, and jumping in muddy puddles. All episodes are wholesome entertainment for the entire family; Peppa's adventures always end happily with loud snorts of laughter. Peppa Pig episodes are available on DVD.

Viacom Partners With Telkomsel To Launch Nickelodeon Play And Nick Jr. Play Apps In Indonesia

Leading Indonesian telco Telkomsel is set to roll out the Nickelodeon Play and Nick Jr. Play apps this year, following a deal with Viacom International Media Networks (VIMN) Asia!


Nickelodeon Play will be available within the third quarter (Q3) of 2017, followed by Nick Jr. Play, from the Apple App Store and Google Play, and can be accessed via the "Nickelodeon Kids Pack" for Telkomsel’s post-paid and pre-paid users in Indonesia. The operator, which reaches 173 million mobile subscribers, will also offer a package with a dedicated data plan for Nickelodeon Play and Nick Jr. Play. They will be available in English with Bahasa Indonesia localization.


The apps, part of Viacom Play Plex, offer VOD access to Nickelodeon's current and library series, short-form content, games and music videos.

“We are delighted both Nickelodeon Play and Nick Jr. Play will debut in Indonesia through Telkomsel,” said Paras Sharma, Senior Vice President (SVP) and General Manager (GM) for Southeast Asia at VIMN. “These Viacom Play Plex apps are designed to extend access to our content across multiple platforms and allow our distribution partners like Telkomsel to deepen the entertainment experience they offer their mobile subscribers, particularly with kids and families who want to be able to access the best of Nickelodeon content from a safe destination anytime and anywhere.”


“As consumers increasingly watch video over mobile networks, we continue to provide various video content that suits their needs, supported by our superior broadband service to give the best digital lifestyle experience,” added Alistair Johnston, marketing director of Telkomsel. “We are very excited to collaborate with VIMN and look forward to introducing Nickelodeon Play and Nick Jr. Play to our customers.”

The news follows VIMN successfully debuting Nickelodeon Play in Asia on the Singaporean telecommunications service Singtel in August 2016.

Additionally, Viacom International Media Networks (VIMN) Asia and HJ Holdings are teaming up to launch a subscription-based linear channel that will play on Hulu’s subscription video platform in Japan.

MTV MIX, which launches Thursday 1st June 2017, will offer access to international and local music videos, while also carrying a range of popular MTV reality programs.

“We are expanding MTV’s reach to a younger demographic of Japanese music fans through the launch of MTV MIX on Hulu in Japan, giving fans access to top international music and entertainment anytime, anywhere,” said Susumu Imata, senior VP and GM, Viacom Networks Japan. Last year, the group launched MTV HITS on AbemaTV, an advertising-supported OTT multi-channel linear platform in Japan.

HJ is the immediate parent of Hulu Japan, the SVoD platform launched in 2011 by America’s Hulu. Nippon TV bought Hulu Japan in 2014; HJ is a wholly owned subsidiary of Nippon TV.

SpongeBob SquarePants Makes Surprise visit to County Durham school | Jeans for Genes Day | Nickelodeon UK

Schoolchildren in County Durham, North East England were treated to a surprise visit from SpongeBob SquarePants after flexing their creative muscles to design him some new gear!


Pupils at Sugar Hill Primary School, in Newton Aycliffe, welcomed the Nickelodeon megastar on Monday 24th April 2017 after youngsters won a national competition as part of Jeans for Genes Day with their ideas for his new pair of jeans.

Headteacher Paula O’Rourke said: “We were thrilled when we heard our school had won. “Congratulations to the winners and thanks to all the parents for supporting the charity.”

The whole school was tasked with coming up with a new design as homework and was selected as the winning school out of hundreds of entries.


In first, second and third place were Charlie-Lewis Elder, Imogen Evans, and Conner Bennett. SpongeBob handed out prizes including a drum kit, scooter and games!

Pupils, who wore jeans for the visit, have helped raise £290 for Genetic Disorders UK.

Jeans for Genes raises money for Genetic Disorders UK and aims to change the world for children with genetic disorders. There are more than 6,000 genetic disorders. Individually, genetic disorders are rare but together they affect 1 in 25 children born in the UK - that's more than 30,000 babies each year. Their associated health problems mean that genetic disorders are the biggest cause of death of children aged 14 years and under.

The money raised during Jeans for Genes Day helps provide vital care and support to children with genetic disorders. The day invites people of all ages to leave their suits and uniforms at home and wear their denim jeans to work or school in return for a donation which will help change the lives of children across the UK. It’s important that as many people as possible pitch in.

This years Jeans for Genes Day will take place on Friday 22nd September 2017. For more information about Jeans for Genes Day, please visit JeansForGenesday.org.

Viacom Strengthens Multiplatform Capabilities with Launch of Global Product Development Group

New Global Organization to Build and Scale Play Plex & Other Digital Applications

Viacom Inc. (NASDAQ: VIAB, VIA) today announced the launch of the Global Product Development Group, a new, streamlined team dedicated to creating multiplatform products for audiences around the world, with a focus on video content.

The group has been charged with establishing a unified strategy for developing digital applications and websites for Viacom’s teen- and adult-oriented brands, including BET, Comedy Central, MTV, Paramount Network, VH1, TV Land, CMT and Logo. It will work closely with Viacom’s brands and technology, ad sales and content distribution functions to ensure these products both enhance how audiences engage with Viacom’s content and support the Pay TV ecosystem, such as through the use of authenticated video.

Among the group’s initial priorities is expanding Play Plex, Viacom International Media Networks’ (VIMN) highly successful suite of mobile apps, to the U.S. and other key markets to create a seamless video-on-demand solution for global audiences. It is currently in the process of transitioning Viacom’s worldwide websites to a single web framework, which will ultimately help to deliver tailored content to audiences based on their geographic location.

Led by Dan Reich, who has been appointed Senior Vice President, Global Multiplatform Products, the Global Product Development Group brings together product teams from across Viacom’s adult brand portfolio, VIMN and corporate. In this expanded role, Reich will oversee the integration of these teams, fostering greater collaboration and helping to prioritize and scale resources. He will report to both Jason Jordan, Executive Vice President, Viacom Multiplatform Strategy & Operations, and Jose Tolosa, Chief Operating Officer, VIMN and Executive Vice President, Global Strategy, Viacom Media Networks.

Dan Reich most recently served as Senior Vice President, Multiplatform Product Strategy & Development for VIMN, where he oversaw the launch of Viacom Play Plex. Previously, he was Vice President of Strategy & Business Development for VIMN. His career with Viacom began in 2006 when he joined MTV Networks Digital Music Group as Manager of Strategy & Operations at URGE. Prior to MTV, he was Director of Business Development at WhenU, and before that, worked as a financial analyst for Salomon Smith Barney. He holds a BS in Economics and Finance as well as an MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.

Pinky Malinky is a brand-new fly-on-the-wall reality show that follows the everyday life of Pinky, an infectiously positive hot dog living in a human world. With his best friends Babs and JJ by his side, Pinky reaches for the stars in the small town of Sackenhack. Through his good spirits and sausage sensibilities, Pinky proves that a "wiener" is only one small letter away from being a "WINNER!"

Using the tropes of a mockumentary and reality show format, Pinky and his friends will talk directly to the camera and the audience to share their absurd and silly take on real life. At times, all children feel like they don't fit in and Pinky's undeniably unique point of view as a literal wiener amongst humans will allow kids to laugh at his familiar struggles and enjoy his unusual perspective on the challenges of being a school-aged kid. By always reaching for the stars, Pinky pushes himself further than anyone could imagine. Pinky and his friends' humorous experiences will also be shared across social media and Nickelodeon's digital platforms.

Co-created and co-executive produced by Chris Garbutt and Rikke Asbjoern (The Amazing World of Gumball) and executive produced by Scott Kreamer (Kung Fu Panda: Legends of Awesomeness), the trio are a part of the Artist Collective, an internal diverse group of experienced creators who mentor and support up-and-coming talent while also collaborating to cultivate, challenge and inspire Nickelodeon's development pipeline.

Pinky Malinky will star Lucas Grabeel (Glenn Martin DDS) as Pinky Malinky, Diamond White (The Haunted Hathaways) as Babs Buttman, and Nathan Kress (iCarly) as JJ Jameson, and is slated to debut on Nickelodeon USA in 2017.


Produced by Nickelodeon Animation Studios in Burbank, Calif., the original animated series will join Nickelodeon's growing roster of content driven by creators discovered all over the world.

Nickelodeon Renews "Hunter Street" For Season 2

Nickelodeon has renewed its adventure-comedy series Hunter Street for a 20-episode Season 2!


Hunter Street follows five foster children in Amsterdam who attempt to find out what happened to their disappearing foster parents, Erik (Ronald Top) and Kate Hunter (Tooske Ragas). In order to crack the case, the siblings set out on a quest for clues, leading them on an epic and suspenseful family adventure, including boat racing through canals, exploring secret tunnels and uncovering lost treasures. With obstacles at every turn, they must also fight off old family rivals and duplicitous heirs in order to solve the mystery.

Season 2 of the Nick series will feature new quests, more mysteries and a new Hunter sibling. Production will begin later this summer in Amsterdam.


Produced by Blooming Media, Hunter Street debuted on Nickelodeon USA on Saturday 11th March 2017, and is currently rolling out on Nickelodeon channels around the world. The series was co-developed with the Nickelodeon Netherlands series, De Ludwigs. Both productions share the same sets, scripts and production crew.

The 20-episode first season averaged a 3.2 with K6-11 and is one of the top five shows year-to-date with K6-11 across all TV. Hunter Street also had a special titled Clued In: A Hunter Street Special, which premiered on Friday 17th March 2017.

Hunter Street stars Stony Blyden as street-smart Max; MaeMae Renfrow as the independent and resourceful sister Tess; Kyra Smith as the free-spirited youngest Hunter sister Anika; Daan Creyghton as Sal, the genius of the bunch; and Thomas Jansen as the fiercely protective eldest brother Daniel.
