Sony Music/Nickelodeon is pleased to announce that boy band Big Time Rush, fresh from their victory at the Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards 2012, will release the second single, and title track from new album ‘Elevate’, on 3rd June.

Big Time Rush is leading the boy band mania currently spreading across America; One Direction has just supported the guys on their first sell out tour.

Elevate the album is the highly anticipated follow-up to the group’s debut, BTR, which entered the UK Official Charts at no. 14 last year. To date, Big Time Rush -- Kendall Schmidt, James Maslow, Carlos Pena and Logan Henderson -- have sold 3.5 million digital tracks worldwide.

Big Time Rush has also recently announced a massive new tour for the summer, which will see them play to over 50 cities in the biggest venues in North America.

Their first film, Big Time Movie for Nickelodeon, was watched by over 13 million viewers in its premiere weekend in the US and will be aired in the UK later this month. The boys, in a James Bond-inspired comedic adventure, sing selections from the Beatles catalogue in this fun movie set in London.

Big Time Rush’s social media profile is constantly growing, with an online community of over 2.8 million combined Twitter followers and more than 3.6 million Facebook fans.

The boys started filming the 3rd season of their hit show this week as Big Time Rush continues to follow four best friends from Minnesota who trade in their hockey sticks for music superstardom in Los Angeles.

New episodes from Series 2 will air Saturdays at 5.30pm throughout May on Nickelodeon. The show has been seen by 11.6 million people in the UK alone and Series 1 has aired on ITV channels, with Series 2 to follow later this year.

The launch of the hit series on Nickelodeon was the most watched live-action series premiere in the network’s history.
