Nickelodeon Germany To Premiere Season Two Of "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" In March 2014

Nickelodeon Germany (Deutschland) has announced in the following press release from Nick Germany's "Nick Pressecenter" the Booyakasha TMNT news that Nick Germany, the German version of the world's number one kids' channel and part of Nickelodeon North, will start to show brand new episodes from "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" season two from March 2014 (März 2014), continuing the shell-raising crime-fighting adventures of the four mutant Heroes in a Half-Shell turtle brothers — Leonardo, Raphael, Donatello and Michelangelo!

Although currently unconfirmed, it is expected that other localised Nickelodeon channels across Northern Europe, which includes Nickelodeon Scandinavia - Nickelodeon Denmark (Danmark), Nickelodeon Norway (Norge) and Nickelodeon Sweden (Sverige) - Nickelodeon Germany (Deutschland), Nickelodeon Austria (Österreich), Nickelodeon Switzerland (Schweiz) and Nickelodeon Poland (Polska), will also start to debut all-new episodes of TMNT in March 2014 as well.


Season two of TMNT starts off with a bang in the premiere episode, "The Mutation Situation". The Turtles discover that the alien Kraang survived their previous showdown and have now dropped mutagen canisters all over New York City. Throughout the season, the Turtles' mission is to recover the canisters before more mutants can be created. Meanwhile, the Kraang and Shredder have united to put an end to the Turtles once and for all which results in some infamous characters coming after the brothers. With the help of Casey Jones, voiced by Nickelodeon Star Josh Peck ("Drake & Josh"), each new episode will see the Turtles take on a new villain, all while trying to unravel the mystery regarding April O'Neil and her importance to the Kraang.

Season two stars Sean Astin ("Lord of the Rings") as Raphael, Rob Paulsen ("Planet Sheen") as Donatello, Greg Cipes ("Teen Titans") as Michelangelo, Jason Biggs ("Orange is the New Black") as Leonardo, Mae Whitman as April O'Neil, Hoon Lee as Master Splinter and Kevin Michael Richardson ("Penguins of Madagascar") as Shredder. Joining the cast for season two will be Josh Peck ("Drake & Josh") as Casey Jones, and Corey Feldman ("The Goonies") reoccurs as Slash. The executive producers for season two are Ciro Nieli and Peter Hastings.
