Nathan Kress To Direct New Episode Of "Henry Danger"

The entertainment industry news magazine The Wrap is reporting the exciting Nickelodeon news that Nickelodeon Star Nathan Kress, who played Freddie Benson in Nickelodeon's hit original comedy series "iCarly" actor, will be heading behind-the-scenes to direct a upcoming episode of one of Nick's latest brand-new hit shows, "Henry Danger"!


Nathan will make his directorial debut by directing the brand-new episode of Nick's superhero-themed sitcom titled "Caved In", in which Henry (Jace Norman), his sister Charlotte (Ella Anderson), and Ray Manchester's (Captain Man; Cooper Barnes) plans for a day of fun are derailed when friend Jasper (Sean Ryan Fox) accidentally triggers the emergency lockdown mode for Junk-N-Stuff and the Man Cave, trapping everyone inside. The all-new "Henry Danger" episode is set to premiere on Nick USA during early 2015.

Nathan also recently made a cameo as himself on the "Henry Danger" episode titled "Birthday Girl Down".

From "iCarly", "Victorious" and "Sam & Cat" creator Dan Schneider and "The 'Burbs" producer Dana Olsen, "Henry Danger" follows 13-year-old Henry Hart (Jace Norman), a teen who moonlights as a crime-fighting sidekick to Ray aka superhero Captain Man (Cooper Barnes).

Nickelodeon today, Tuesday 18th November 2014, ordered a second season "Henry Danger", along with a second season of "Nicky, Ricky, Dicky & Dawn", and two brand-new live-action comedic pilots titled "The Dunes Club" (Working Title) and "Future Shock" (Working Title):

The 21-year-old returns to Nickelodeon to helm an episode of the new superhero series

Nickelodeon is giving one of its stars the opportunity to go behind-the-camera.

“iCarly” star Nathan Kress will return to the cable channel to direct an episode of Nick's new series, “Henry Danger.”

“I'm so honored to have been given the opportunity to step behind the camera for such a big project, especially at such a young age,” Kress, 21, told TheWrap exclusively.

“I don't take the responsibility lightly,” he continued. “I've been preparing for over a month and I can't wait to flex a different creative muscle in the coming week!”

Kress will direct the episode titled “Caved In,” in which Henry, his sister Charlotte (Ella Anderson), and Ray's plans for a day of fun are derailed when friend Jasper (Sean Ryan Fox) accidentally triggers the emergency lockdown mode for Junk-N-Stuff and the Man Cave, trapping everyone inside.

Best known as Freddie Benson on “iCarly,” Kress has also appeared on CBS's “Hawaii Five-0,” TNT's “Major Crimes” and web series “Video Game High School.” Kress also made a cameo on the “Henry Danger” episode, titled “Birthday Girl Down.” His film credits include “Into the Storm” and voice roles on movies “Chicken Little” and “Babe: Pig in the City.”

“Henry Danger” was picked up for 20 episodes in March by Nick.
