Nickelodeon USA To Premiere 800th Episode Of "Power Rangers" On 10/3; Boom! Studios Announces "Mighty Morphin Power Rangers" Comic

This Saturday, "Power Rangers" will be celebrating a huge milestone in children's television when Nickelodeon USA premieres the brand new "Power Rangers Dino Charge" episode "Sync or Swim", the 800th episode of Saban's iconic "Power Rangers" franchise!

Aside from "Mr. Rogers" and "Sesame Street", the "Power Rangers" television series — currently in it's 22nd season — is one of the only children's programs to reach this achievement. Watch an exclusive sneak peek from the upcoming milestone episode of "Power Rangers Dino Charge", where our heroes battle it out against a deadly foe (with teamwork, of course) and check out some exclusive photos below, from Entertainment Weekly!:

In the all-new "Power Rangers Dino Charge" episode "Sync or Swim", Tyler and Ivan's rivalry becomes a problem when it interferes with the Rangers' efforts to find and defuse a bomb that Sledge's monsters have planted.

The brand-new "Power Rangers Dino Charge" episode "Sync or Swim" premieres Saturday 3rd October 2015 at 12:00pm ET/PT, only on Nickelodeon USA! Fans can share the love on social media during the episode with the hashtags #PowerRangers800 and #PRDC.

Additionally, following Boom! Studios making headlines earlier this year when they announced it would debut a "Mighty Morphin Power Rangers" comic in partnership with Saban Brands, EW has exclusively revealed that fans can expect the debut of issue #0 in January 2016!

The series will be penned by Kyle Higgins, who is known for his work on popular DC titles such as "Batman Eternal" and "Nightwing", with an artist to be named at a later date. The #0 issue will also include a short story written by Mairghread Scott ("Transformers: Windblade", "Toil and Trouble") and illustrated by Daniel Bayliss ("Translucid") that was released as part of a promotional campaign during this year's San Diego Comic Con.

Further details on the comics are being kept under wraps, but BOOM! Studios Editor-in-Chief Matt Gagnon has previously stated that, "fans of BOOM! know we treat the existing properties we collaborate on with a focus on authenticity and quality. That's the same sensibility we're applying here. The "Mighty Morphin Power Rangers" have an awesome fan base and we can’t wait to show them how much fun we’re having."
